Terms & Conditions.

Corporate Films and Commercials:

The terms and conditions within this section pertains only to Corporate Videos and Commercials.  If you require information about narrative feature/short film production or documentaries or other products that we offer, please get in touch: + 44 (0)33 0822 0453 or info@selena-ch.com.

I. Our Work Process

  • Confirmation of Project: Please provide us with a precise and clear outline of the necessary information that you wish to convey in your film either via writing, or oral consultation. This will include the base and structure of your final project.

  • Coverage of Advance Payment and Contract Signature: During this step, we will cover how the payment process works, and will go over the contract with you. At this time, all contract discussion will be completed as well as the signing of the contract (legally binding).

  • Development of Concept: This is a crucial step as it will require the approval of a designed concept based off of the structure of the final project plan of the Client. The concept will first need to be approved by the Client with their signature.

  • Development of Script: The script will be written into a screenplay by a professional writer, and based off of the approved concept and information provided.

Once it is finished, it will be sent to you for perusal and approval. If changes are required then they will need to be marked out in a clear manner. All necessary changes will then be implemented; the script will need to be approved again.

  • All scenes to be filmed will be indicated and will be authorized upon approval of the script.

  • Acceptance & Signature of the Script: Once the script has been signed as accepted by the Client, the shooting will commence.

  • Shooting: Date of the filming will be agreed upon between the Client and Selena Creative House.

  • Post Production: Will be done by our crew.

  • Preliminary Project View: The finished project will be viewable by the Client or a Client's representative either in person or via an on-line communication link. As all scenes will have been previously authorized by the Client, changes at this point will be restricted to one round of fine-tuning the edit in order to achieve a final product cut. Additional rounds of editing are possible for an additional fee. Large changes to footage, script and voice-overs can be considered on a case by case basis for an additional charge.

  • Approval: We will require the approval of the finished product.

  • Full Coverage of Invoice & Delivery: Once approval has been given, we will then proceed to the delivery of the final film upon full payment.

II. Shooting

  • The date of filming will be noted in the confirmation of the project and Selena Creative House asks that the Client arrange for the building(s), staff, car(s), etc that will be appearing within the film, be notified and ready during the film's production time.

  • We ask the Client notify any staff/people that are present during the filming, for their cooperation and consent. We suggest that the film be introduced to them prior to filming; please ask them to be on time on the filming day(s).

  • For a smooth film transition: we ask that all machinery, cars, offices, etc be clean and ready for use.

  • Note: All footage is authorized by the Client for use.

  • We ask that the Client and other key staff (including those bound to feature in the video) be present on the day(s) of filming. All objects and props are required to be ready for the agreed time, which is confirmed during the contract signing.

  • If the Client and/or key staff cannot attend, we ask they cancel the film appointment in advance (72 hours before the filming date are required). If this happens, extra charges will be tacked on as “waiting time” since it will extend the duration of the filming schedule.

III. Specific Equipment/Film Premises

  • If certain equipment or permissions are required to film in specific locations such as: factories, construction sites, and mines, etc., they will be provided by the Client. Safety Equipment, if required to access the sites, will also be provided by the Client.

  • Arrangement for special equipment and permissions such as permits and/or licenses can be organized by Selena Creative House at an additional charge.

IV. Payment

  • On confirmation of the project, a 50% payment of total price will be due. Once this transaction has been completed, the project development can proceed.

  • The remaining 50% of the total price will be paid upon delivery of the completed project.

  • Payment processors accepted: Bank transfer, Credit card, Debit card, Paypal Transfer.

  • Payment details (including bank information) will be provided upon confirmation of the project.

V. Policy on Modifications After Film Completion

If changes or modifications are requested by the Client after the concept, script and scenes have been approved and filmed, additional payment charges might be required.
